This hands-on Thursday evening workshop invites you to shape, polish, and personalise your very own adjustable silver ring. Perfect for curious makers and jewellery enthusiasts alike, you'll leave with a stunning piece you've crafted yourself and newfound skills to treasure.

With small group numbers, you’ll receive dedicated guidance and full access to professional tools and materials during this relaxed, no-pressure session. . 

This workshop is held at Hadnall Village Hall, just 6 miles from Shrewsbury, with plenty of free parking available. 

Places are limited - book early to avoid disappointment!

What you will make

This workshop is designed to give a good introduction to basic silversmithing techniques. You will make an adjustable ring in sterling silver, with the opportunity to add textures or decorative elements using texturing hammers, metal stamps and other techniques to let your creativity go wild!  

Ideal for

Complete beginners onwards. Please note that a good level of dexterity and eyesight is required. Over 18s only unless by prior arrangement.

What you will learn

The basics of jewellery making techniques such as annealing, shaping, filing, sizing, texturing and polishing.

What's included

All equipment and materials including sterling silver to make your finished piece, plus  lovely treats and bottomless tea and coffee!

What you should bring

Yourself, reading glasses or magnifying glasses if you need extra magnification for close-up detail, and an apron, plus a willingness to learn and have fun!
For safety reasons please wear closed toed shoes, avoid loose clothing such as scarves and have long hair tied back.

Terms and Conditions for Jewellery Making Workshops

1. Booking and Availability 
Price is per person. Workshop bookings are subject to availability and must be made in advance through our website. We are unable to reserve or hold places for courses.

2. Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable  
Once booked, workshop fees are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Bookings are transferable to another person, but must be notified in advance. 

3. Booking Amendments
Changes to the workshop date may only be made with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability. Cancellations or amendments made with less than 14 days’ notice may result in the forfeiture of the workshop fee. 

4. No-Show Policy  
Failure to attend a scheduled workshop without prior notice will result in the booking being void, and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.

5. Workshop Cancellations 
In the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

6. Age Restrictions  
Participants must be at least 18 years old unless otherwise specified in the workshop details or agreed prior to booking.

7. Health and Safety
All participants are required to follow the health and safety guidelines provided during the workshop. The organiser reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who does not comply with these rules.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions  
The organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the website.
