Two Artisans, One Meaningful Collaboration
What made this commission even more special was the opportunity to work alongside the wonderfully talented artist, Trixi Hill, bringing together our different skills to create something truly meaningful.
The process began with a conversation over coffee. Our client brought along her late husband's wedding ring, hoping to transform it into a piece she could wear every day to keep his memory close. Together, we explored design ideas, reflected on precious memories, and reviewed handcrafted memorial stone options to incorporate his cremation ashes.
She was immediately drawn to an intense blue - a beautiful choice that perfectly echoed his striking blue eyes.
A Lasting Tribute to Love
I carefully remodelled the gold wedding ring, transforming it into a wider, contemporary band designed to hold the memorial stone, and Trixi’s beautiful craftsmanship added the final, deeply personal touches.
Inspired by our client's chosen colour palette, Trixi delicately incorporated the cremation ashes and real forget-me-nots into the keepsake stone she created.
She also made a collection of additional handcrafted memorial stones for our client to share with her family.
