Sorrel’s original gold rings had history, but their style no longer matched.
Rather than letting them sit unworn in a jewellery box, together we reimagined them into an elegant, contemporary stacking ring set.
The original gold was refined and reshaped into slim, modern bands in gold and silver, set with sapphires from the original ring. Designed to be worn together or apart, each ring plays its own role, but together they create a layered look with a fresh modern vibe.
I also created a bold silver spinner ring, thoughtfully incorporating every part of the gold into a contemporary mixed-metal design.
This transformation is a reminder that fine jewellery doesn’t have to stay frozen in time. By reworking existing materials, sentiment is preserved, waste is reduced, and the result is something entirely new—jewellery that fits seamlessly into everyday life.
